A three-slot card holder handmade using Toscana Shell Cordovan and Buttero leathers. Shell cordovan comes from a very small part of a horse rear quarters, hence its rarity. It has incredibly dense fibres so is famed for its strength and durability, and has a smooth, shiny finish that is instantly recognisable.
The outer of this wallet uses cognac Cordovan with a 'Rothko' texture, based on the artist's distinctive brush strokes. I've cut this piece so the tannery stamp is visible on the inside - always a bonus to get that piece! The inner pockets are black Buttero, another quality vegtan leather from the Walpier tannery in Italy. It's all saddle-stitched together by hand using waxed Vinymo thread from Japan.
The minimalist 3 slot design still gives you a good amount of space for cards while remaining slim and compact. Each pocket will hold 2-3 cards from new and will of course stretch with use.
