This belt is made from sturdy Italian vegetable-tanned leather in a warm saddle tan colour, paired with a solid brass heel bar buckle made in the USA. The 25mm-wide strap is approximately 3.5mm thick, with burnished and waxed edges and a debossed Buck&Hide stamp, as well as a heat crease along the edges.
The buckle and keeper are secured with solid brass 'Chicago' screws rather than permanent rivets, so you can change the buckle if you fancy a different look down the line.
The belt is made to your measurements so is slightly unfinished in the photos. After you order, I’ll get in touch to confirm the fit before punching the holes and finishing the strap with an asymmetrical point as shown in example in the last photo.
The vegetable-tanned leather will develop character with wear, gradually taking on its own patina. It’s a world away from the belts I used to buy from supposedly decent brands, and a good reminder of what a difference the materials and construction make.
