Handmade leather valet tray, tan or brown,

These leather pill-shaped valet trays, available in tan or brown, are made in the UK from heavy 9oz (3.5mm) vegetable-tanned bull shoulder from Tuscany. Vegetable tanning uses natural tannins derived from bark, leaves and other plant matter. It’s firm, substantial leather that will develop a unique patina with use.

Each tray is wet-formed by hand over a wooden mould, and clamped to shape the leather into a sturdy, functional tray. Measuring approximately 7" x 5", it’s ideal for the things that usually end up scattered across a bedside table or desk such as coins, keys, glasses and everyday essentials.

Because they’re made from natural leather and formed individually, every tray is slightly different, with its own grain, marks and character. Minor variations and natural imperfections are part of the material, not faults.
