This quality, heavyweight belt is made from extra sturdy 13oz oak-tanned bridle leather from the J&FJ Baker tannery in Devon. The last remaining oak tannery in the UK, the family have been producing premium leathers since 1862 passing down knowledge as they go. The traditional, skilled process takes 14 months and makes unrivalled leathers that are hardwearing, strong and supple. The colour is a rich cognac. Note this leather wil have naturally occurring flaws and characteristics.

The strap is 38mm wide (1.5") and around 5.4mm thick (13oz) with lightly burnished and waxed edges. The buckle and keeper are heavy duty brass, and I've used brass chicago screws to hold it together so you have the option to change the buckle at any time. There's a dab of loctite on these to stop them loosening.

Before sending your order I'll need to fit the belt to your waist so will ask you to measure one you use currently. This strap is pretty long so it should work for most people. I generally make 5 holes and give the tip a 'church end' as seen on the reverse of the belt.

This is a great quality belt, perfect for heavy raw denim, and would make an ideal gift for that rugged person in your life.
