A unique, compact bi-fold card wallet made using Badalassi Carlo Wax veg-tan leather shoulder in Olmo, a rich, warm orange/brown. This fantastic hide from the Italian tannery is a pull up leather – this means it is rich in oils and changes colour slightly in areas that are stretched or pulled (evident around the stitching, for example). It's soft to touch and full of natural flaws and characteristics, giving it a rugged appearance that will patina beautifully. The wallet uses 2 weights of leather to reduce bulk, and it's all saddle-stitched together by hand using auburn waxed Vinymo thread.
The design gives you 4 slots on the inside for cards or notes - one of the rear slots has internal stitching (hidden by the pocket on the back of the wallet) so it is the correct depth to hold cards. The other (left) rear slot is the full width, so it is good for small banknotes, receipts etc. Finally, there's a handy fast-access card pocket on the rear.
