A bi-fold card wallet made in burgundy Buttero, using the hatch finish for the outer and the traditional smooth for the inside card pockets. Buttero comes from the Conceria Walpier tannery in Italy and is used for quality small goods around the World. It has a firm feel and ages beautifully.
The design features a spacious, full-width external pocket ideal for banknotes (US dollars will fit), additional cards or receipts etc. Inside there are four card slots - the rear slots are stitched internally preventing cards from slipping lower than intended. It's all saddle-stitched together by hand using waxed dark burgundy Xiange thread. There is a debossed logo on the rear but it's not really visible against the hatch pattern.
Overall this is a tactile, practical wallet with a really premium feel.
