Olive green Chromexcel leather paired with matte nickel-finished brass gives this wallet lanyard a distinctive, understated look. The rich, shifting colour of the leather contrasts with the cool, muted metal finish, creating a combination that's both rugged and refined.
The 12mm-wide leather comes from Chicago's renowned Horween tannery. Chromexcel is known for its rich pull-up effect, where the colour shifts as the leather bends and moves. Hot-stuffed with oils and greases during tanning, it has a naturally soft, supple feel and plenty of character. The olive green shade brings out these qualities, and the leather will continue to develop with use.
The hardware is made from solid brass at a USA foundry and has an unusual matte nickel finish. I've used black double-headed rivets to hold everything securely in place.
At 16.5" overall, including the hardware, it's a relatively compact lanyard without excessive length getting in the way.
